Aaron D. Kapaun is in his tenth year
as Director of Choral Music at Henry Sibley High School in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. Choirs under his direction have
toured throughout Europe and the United States and have performed at Carnegie Hall. Prior to Sibley Mr. Kapaun taught
at Robbinsdale Middle School. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a Masters
of Arts in Music Education from the University of St. Thomas. Mr. Kapaun has been nominated twice for Minnesota Teacher
of the Year and was named a District Innovator of the Year in 2008 for co-writing an original musical. He resides in
Eagan with his wife Sage and their children Alexander and Olivia.
